We Just Heard...

As they were having their picnic in our backyard today the Jackson kid's said they were planning on moving. They actually sold their house after it had been on the market for months. We were starting to wonder. I don't know what we will do without them in a neighborhood, as there are not many kids. They are such good friends and they've been through a lot together to make them that way. They moved next door when Kandus was about 6 months old, Jazzy was 2 months old. They started out absolutely hating each other and when they got old enough to "really" play together it was more of a love/hate relationship and would change from week to week.

But now.......now they just really love each other.

Kandus, do you remember when Jazzy was spraying you with a giant super soaker all the way from her house over the fence? You were screaming at her like nothing else and she was laughing devilishly. Do you remember how you loved to play at their house and eat their junk food because they were things that you would never be able to eat otherwise because you were deprived?

Lucy, do you remember standing up for Deacon when he was being bullied by Baylee and Tyler? Remember how you thought Ellie was being a brat so you put a worm in her hair and then ran home and stayed within 2 feet of me all afternoon because you thought their dad was going to yell at you? Now it's not like that at all. Now you are all the best of friends.

Deac, do you remember when you were finally old enough to climb over the brick wall to get to their house so you could play with the other kids? You felt so big and free and happy. Remember how much you loved their REALLY NICE playground?

We will miss you Jazzy, Baylee, Tyler, and Ellie.
