Yesterday (Thanksgiving day) was grandpa Greg's birthday, so tonight our family took him out to eat at Communal, a nice restaurant in Provo. We tried lots of dishes that were shared. Like, Halibut, steak, scallops, lobster pasta, kale salad, meats and cheese plate, and brussel sprouts. The food was amazing and so fun to try all of those things with family.

Photo Competition
To celebrate the 24th today and Dae's day off work, we went to Salt Lake to have a photo competition. We were supposed to try to capture still life as well as action or really anything we wanted. At the end of the day we would decide on a few favorite pictures and declare the winner. I took this beauty on the drive home, so it can't be counted. I've been eyeing this barn for months.
And the winner is...Lucy!
Family selfie at Alpha coffee got 5 out of 5 votes.
Second runner up is Dae for taking this adorable picture of Jack at the park.
Deacon took third place. He took this shot of Dae throwing a disc.
Kandus and Mom tied for 4th. Kandus took the family shot of us eating.
Mom took this picture of Kandus laughing while eating.
Today was so fun!

Breakfast At Eva's Bakery On Father's Day
Today was so incredibly fun. We decided to go out for breakfast to celebrate father's day. Went to Alex's and woke him and his kids up(and Jahde) early and went up to Salt Lake. This is the place we went to last year on my birthday and I loved it just as much.
After breakfast we had a disc golf day...Of course! What else would a father choose to do on a day such as this? The weather was so nice. We had such a great day.

Pho Please
I have to give credit to Damon for expanding our horizons in the food corner. He has introduced our family to all kinds of fun and amazing, different kinds of food. Eating out on Saturday nights with the family, is one of the most fun traditions I can think of. We all love it. What he have here on the menu is a Vietnamese delight, called Pho. SO GOOD. Oh my...I love it so much.
What picky eaters? They ate nearly every last bite.

Three Cups After Soccer
Deac played a great soccer game today. I love watching that little guy run his heart out.
That night we went out to eat as a family for our traditional Saturday night out. We ate up at Cottonwood Heights in a small and beautiful area that I love the most and had tacos. Right after, we walked up the road to one of the best mocha and gelato places in town called Three Cups. The kids were in heaven.
