Freak Alley Gallery- Boise, Idaho

We took a short weekend trip to Boise Idaho because Damon was in a tournament there. During the day, the kids and I walked around the city on our own and found cool art in an attempt to help Kandus with an art project she had to do for school. We ended up finding an awesome alley way called "Freak Alley". It went on for about a block straight.

Pre-Thanksgiving Pictures

Yesterday the kids and I went to take pictures at grandpa Jay's. Even though the leaves have fallen and everything isn't as green, it was so beautiful there. Not only that, but now we can say we've taken pictures at grandpa Jay and grandma Luana's. There will always be fond memories of that place.

Jaxon and Breanna came with us. I can't believe how adorable they are.

Yellow Specticles

Lucy and Breanna helped me take these pictures of Jack last Sunday. What do you think?...I wanted a funny one to enlarge and put on our TV room wall next to our family picture. Taking pictures of dogs(or any low attention spanned animal) is not easy and I was prepared to act fast. We literally only had about 30 seconds at most to get what we needed until he was done being our model. After the 30 seconds, Lucy brought out some dog food to bribe him not realizing he would immediately turn into a full blown hunting dog with a purpose. It was then that it was all over. But look what we got!!! I am SO incredibly happy with them. He looks so cute and fluffy. We all had the hardest time deciding on a favorite, I love them all. Thanks Lucy and Bree!

A Bribed Christmas Picture

I took these pictures of Jack and the kids on a whim the other day, just so that we could include them as gifts to grandparents for Christmas. Actually, the truth is that I had been dreaming up the idea for quite some time and I bribed them into letting me for my own selfish desires! The Christmas present part was just an excuse, really.

Abstract Picasso War Paint and the Smore's Club

Lucy invited a couple cousin friends over(the Smore's Club) for a late-over. They had the whole evening planned with s'mores done in the microwave, pizza, doughnuts, games, and surprises for each other. When I mentioned a photo shoot, the next thing I knew they came down stairs dressed in colorful abstract war paint.

The look was very...interesting indeed. Just like a real life Picasso painting. At first, the scene was utter chaos as each of them were doing their own thing, flailing around trying to win as the center of attention in the photo. I quickly realized that wasn't going to work and had them sit down, look serious for a minute, and dared them not to laugh.
