Easter

It's been a long time since we have had an Easter party at grandma Linda and grandpa DaWayne's. This year we did and it was so fun. Did you hear they are moving? It will happen in June. Life will be changing.

Evil Bunny

The Easter bunny took a turn for the worst this year.
Maybe even a slightly evil turn. I don't know....

Our Easter at grandpa Greg's was enjoyable and WARM. I don't remember the last time I didn't wear at least a jacket on Easter. I'll tell you, it was much needed after the long and cold winter that we've had this year.
January 2013 will go down as the coldest winter since 1949.
I'm just so glad that spring and green LIFE is back on the horizon.

*****
The kids and I have been loving SMASH BOOKS this winter. Heard of those?
They are new, but not really that new. It's a pretty fun project for us to do together and get excited about.

The girls have been continuing with their piano lessons which they started last September. It's not that long yet, I know, but I can't believe how well they are doing already. And I'm so glad to see them doing something that they actually like. Maybe even love.
I am loving watching them love it.

That's all I've got for today.

P.S. Remember,
the Easter bunny.....loves you.

Personality of an Egg

The kids and I made these last night together. Lucy has been begging me for almost two weeks to make them. Thank you Family Fun magazine for the idea!

Easter salmon and shrimp fry.

For the past 5 Easters or more, we have been invited to grandpa Greg's for a seafood- salmon and shrimp fry, followed by an Easter egg hunt. We look forward to it every year now. Not just for the tempting food, but for the time spent with people we love and don't see near enough.
Did you know that our Grandpa Greg is a culinary artist?

Last Saturday, waiting for the hunt to begin...
