I woke up to surprises this morning from everyone at home.
My family-You made me feel special. I am so happy.
I was born on Father's Day, some 34 years ago.
There has only been a handful of those father/birthday days since.
Today is a special day.

I was thinking about my birthdays as a child and for some reason I only remember two, and only two presents.
One year, I got to pick out the most beautiful barbie in the world. She wore a fluffy pink birthday party dress that had glow in the dark stars all over it. She was so pretty.
The other was a bench my mom painted for me AND Katie, because her birthday was just a week before mine. Half of it was in my name and painted for me, and the other half was made special for her. (I really want that bench by the way)
Also,
I remember the cakes...
Every birthday I can remember, my mom would make me whatever cake I wanted out of the big birthday cake book.
I still remember what that book looked and smelled like. Oh yes I do.
Every one of those birthday cakes were special to me.
They meant...Annie I love you.
That was the best part.
(Me with my little sis, Mica. I love that she pee'd her pants.)
I remember a butterfly cake. It was yellow and perfect.
And a pastel umbrella cake.
It had coconut and candy on top.....
