This morning Dae took us all to an early morning breakfast. Something we only do a couple times a year. So it's pretty special and exciting to the kids when they get fluffy gluten rich pancakes with berries and whipped cream on top...Or chocolate chip pancakes for that matter instead of my gourmet paleo pancakes and green shakes.
On the drive home I laughed as I heard Lucy in the back seat say, "Squeeze it till you see it!" All 3 of them were playing I spy and the trick is to squeeze your butt cheek muscles until you find what is supposed to be found. I guess last time they played their butt cheeks were pretty sore the next day. There was laughter and puzzlement in the car when we passed the point of the mountain, no signs in sight, and we heard Lucy say, "Dolphin!"...
(Playing squeeze it till you see it)
We also made plans for a bike ride in the afternoon. The weather is definitely on the up hill lately and a bike ride is something we all have been itching for. Bikes tires were pumped and several unexpected bike delays were had before the big ride to Art Dye Park on the bike trail. The kids are definitely going to be bike tinkering savvy if their father has anything to say about it.
