The kids had the day off of school today and on top of that Dae is out of town on a business trip. The kids were so bored and we were desperate for something different. We turned the afternoon into racing fun by splitting into teams and completing tasks. The teams were Deac and I, and Kandus and Lucy. The first task was to acquire listed items found outside in nature into a baggie and when you were done you were supposed to snap a picture and then meet back at the house. The girls won that race fair and square and easily I have to confess!
The next race was inside Target. We had to again take pictures of ourselves holding the items on the list and then meet outside the store when we were done. First team out wins. Deac and I kicked butts on that one.
Later that evening, watching a movie and doing hair. I love it when my kids play with my hair...
