Dogs and Bunnies

Deac: "Look! My dog ate some of his cereal!"

 

Lucy: "He didn't Deacon. He's not alive....Mom, I wish I didn't give Deacon my dog a long time ago. I really miss him."

 

Deac: "He did eat it! He did! Look! Some of it's gone."(Little did he know until later, that it was I who ate it)

Kandus: "Lucy, it's fine if he thinks his dog is real. Be nice."

 

Lucy: "Just a minute...Deacon, do you actually know that your dog doesn't have bones? And remember that white fluffy stuff that Jack likes to eat?...He has it inside. See his nose? And see how his eyes are really hard?"

 

Deac: "Oh!!(giggling) It's alive sometimes, but it's not alive in it's bones."

 

Lucy is still as inquisitive as ever. While Deacon is as right as ever.

Maybe you've noticed some of the past blog entries with the two of them having their discussions and such. There has been a lot of Lucy trying to teach Deacon about things lately. Those are some of the funniest. Sometimes I forget to write things down when they happen, but rarely does a day go by that I don't witness a quizzical look and a funny grin on either Kandus's or Damon's face, when they listen in on the two of them talking.

But only boys do.....Not girls.

Girls turn into bunnies. Pink bunnies.

(And then he laughed)
