Visits From A Fairy

During a 3 week stretch, Kandus and Lucy together have lost a total of 4 teeth...3 of them being from Lucy.

We have seen more of the Tooth Fairy in this short amount of time than we have all last year.

There was a time or two or three in the past, I must admit, when the Tooth Fairy has forgotten to leave money, fealt really bad about it, and has had to come the following night instead. She's usually pretty generous when this happens. But this past month she has been on a quarter giving spree like you've never seen.

It's always the same deal...Kandus usually puts her teeth under her pillow, in hopes for a little extra cash(I would too), or she leaves them on the bathroom counter and forgets about them only to find a stack of quarters in the bathroom the next morning.

Lucy either hides her teeth away so they can't be found(not caring about any money) or she tapes them to cute pieces of paper and puts them under her pillow. That way, she still gets the money but no one gets any ideas of taking her precious little teeth.

I don't know why she bothers hiding them though...The so called Tooth Fairy gave up long ago on the idea of stealing any of their teeth. She's smart enough now to just leave em.

As far as the Tooth Fairy goes around here...anyone at all can play that role.

Even the "tooth-less" themselves.

Last week Deac was instructed by the girls to look under his pillow just as soon as he got home from taking them to school. When he did, he found a note with a quarter taped to it.(I wonder who's quarter it was?)

It read:

From: the Tooth Fairy...

It's okay if you didn't loose a tooth.

He was pretty happy about that.

In fact, he looked under his pillow again the next morning, just to make sure there was nothing there again.
