I was tapped awake at exactly 6:00 a.m.
A little lady said to me, "Can we see if Santa came?....Kandus said to say that."
"Let's wait til seven" was my answer. Hoping we all could get just a little more sleep.
7:00 a.m. on the dot,
I am tapped again. Only this time, I can feel all three sets of eager eyes staring at me in the dark.
Skipper said, "We have been waiting the whole hour. We woke Deac up and we all sat in our room looking at the clock, counting every single minute...there's only twenty minutes...now there's only five..."
7:03 a.m.
Standing single file, youngest to oldest, while the Christmas tree lights are being turned on.
Christmas finally did come.
