Annie: Yes.
(She then named off about 15 kids she was going to invite. We managed to narrow it down to 8.)
Days later...
Lucy: I actually want a Flynn Rider barbie for my birthday.
Annie: Oh. You don't want Rapunzel? Only Flynn?
Lucy: No, Kandus already has Rapunzel. Then we will have both of them...and I actually only want a family party.
Days later...
Lucy: Mom, which one costs more...having your ears pierced or a barbie?
Annie: Earrings, but that doesn't matter.
Lucy: Well, I am actually used to my ears the way they are so I will choose a Flynn Rider this year and maybe next year I will get earrings. And can I have a cherry pie for my cake?
These conversations were so adorable to me. So out of the blue and, so Lucy.
She knows exactly what she wants and she was happy with one little thing, nothing more.
Today is her birthday. She is 7. My little lady is SEVEN. We will be celebrating her birthday this weekend when we go to East Canyon with cousins for a couple days. She is so excited. So, in the mean time here are some birthday pictures from the past to celebrate Lucy.
