"They are taking for a really long time mom."
It's Tuesday afternoon. Lucy is outside playing with Deac. Kandus will be out there at any moment too...just as soon as she finishes drawing her after school picture for the day.
Right now Deac is happy.
Really happy.
Let's just say that when the girls come home, that's when the party really starts.
Just like when their Dad comes home...everybody turns playful.
These pictures were taken on the second day of school within minutes of the girls coming home.
(That is my eyeliner that you can see smeared down Deac's nose.)

One of Deacon's favorite books is Are You My Mother by Dr. Seuss. We read it so much that he has had it memorized since he was three. He'll "read" it to me start to finish and even add a bit of his own theatrical flair. The thing is, he knows he is funny. He knows once he starts reading he will have us all watching and laughing. It's pretty funny.
