Yesterday, the girls were nervous but so excited for their first day of school. I hoped they would come home with happy expressions and good news on their first day. Which they did. They loved it.
I had to convince "someone" not to wear her new stylish Himalayan winter boots today(and yesterday). With it being in the record high temperatures of the year these last couple weeks, I thought 100 degree weather and winter boots should probably not be combined.
There was no other shoes to match the 3/4 sleeve sweater she was wearing.
When I was a kid, I remember wanting to wear my new fall clothes to school on the first day too.
But after being out in the morning sun for a few minutes, they both came in and changed into something much COOLER before heading off to school. It was pretty cute.
I love my girls.
Was today hot or what?!
