Lucy performed a random act of surgery.
It took place in the operating room on THE operating table.
This somewhat precarious surgery was carried out on an unmedicated and awake, wide eyed patient...
A guinea pig.
And not just any guinea pig...Lucy's most guinea of pigs.
(Fixing up the guinea pig's face with scotch tape.)

Lucy: Mom, there is a girl at my school that made her eyes go together...cross eyed all the way!! She has brown hair with piggy tails and brown eyes. Have you seen a girl like that at my school?
Annie: ..........(long pause).............a ya.
Lucy: And she also has a monkey on her back....
