grandma.

Pretty watches.
Music boxes.
Small hands, petite feet.
Walls of books.
A love for learning.
Happy faces.
Kind words.
Soft vintage pink with silver trim...

These recollections are sketched into my memory like a burn.
I am left to hope and wonder...
Did my Grandma know before she died, how much I REALLY love her? Does she really know what I think of her and Grandpa? Does she realize how much of an example of love they will both always be to me? How they make me feel like I am their granddaughter(though I only am by marriage)?
The moment I met them both, they were MY grandparents too.

Life is wonderful.
Life here on earth goes by so fast. How fragile it can be.
I pray that I take life's strides with a purpose more than I have. I pray I don't take my family for granted.
I pray that I learn to live more and love more deeply.
I pray that I never forget.

This post is dedicated to Grandpa Jay and Grandma Luana and the infinite love they have for each other.

Annie that was very appropriate.
People that read Annie's poem about grandma need to know that as we were driving away from her graveside Annie looked at grandmas vintage pink casket adorned in silver trim and in a very tearful voice said "That is so much like her".
