Why Sunday night was funny.

Some cousins (Lexi, Aubrey, Maddie, Chloey, Lucy, Kandus)

We went to "Grandpa and Grammy's" house Sunday night for dinner. A few of my siblings and their families were there too. It all started within 5 minutes of getting there when my brother, Mckay was talking to Deacon and quite frankly, invading his personal space.

Deac didn't take it one bit.

He got that nervous look on his face like he was about to cry, but instead he yelled out in front of everyone, "I don't like you!" He didn't just yell though, it was his whole body language that spoke just as loud as his bark did.

Poor Mckay replied by saying, "That's okay buddy, at least you are honest."

I was embarrassed.

I found myself apologizing for Deac. But then I thought about it...I am glad he stands up for himself, even being only 2 years old.

When dinner prayer was being said Deac whispered to me that he wanted to pray too. I told him no, but he had already made up his mind. There was no stopping him. His eyes were glued shut as he muttered and copied every third word said.

On top of that he was swaying his head from side to side just like Stevie Wonder.

I actually caught Mckay gawking at Deac during the prayer with a wide grin on his face.

He thought it was funny too.

During dinner I overheard Lucy talking to Kyler(a cousin) from the next room. She had her apologetic and awkward voice on when she said, "My dad is smarter than yours."(sorry Adam)

Then she did her apologetic, awkward chuckle.

No idea where that conversation came from.

Later on Kandus got a push pin punctured in the top of her foot. Not funny but definitely random.
