First of all, I want to say that it is so important to me to be able to read all of your blogs. It helps my family be more a part of yours, and I love it.
So...Why do I like blogging so much?
Of course it is therapeutic for me but...
I recently talked with my mom and dad about some of their childhood and teenage years. Things I'd never heard before. I was brought to tears as I asked them how come they didn't talk much about their lives before? Afterall, they both are so important to me.
My desire to know more about them has increased. I want to know everything I can. How life was for them...WHO THEY WERE.
Hence came Pinky and Blacky, a work in progress.
With that said, you can probably see now why I like to blog. To me, it is history and a treasure that is priceless to me. I want my kids to have this piece of me. Someday when I am gone, they will have some of the Hullinger family stories down in writing and how our family was at that time. But mostly they will remember how their mom felt about them.
I know I've already started this, but I am going to do more posts from the past. Because the past is important too and because my kids really love it.
Annie.
p.s. I know a few of you already knew this but...my head feels 6" lighter today than it did yesterday and it feels so AWESOME! Seriously, what was I waiting for?
