I have been noticing that the girls room hasn't been as clean this past week as I am used to. Like the other day when I looked behind their curtains and found piles of hidden treasures stacked on their window sill. Everything from papers, to barbies, microphones, and toy cupcakes.
Then I looked behind their considerably large laundry basket, which was partially blocking my view of this...
Were they really trying to hide all this from me? If so, it wasn't hidden that well.
With a reassuring smile, Kandus said, "No Mom, it's okay. That is our lost and found."
Oh. Their lost and found.
What are they teaching them in these places we call schools?
I called Damon in to take a look and asked Kandus to tell him about it too. I watched as he tried to hold back a big smile...He couldn't...It was so funny.
After that, Kandus brought out more hidden piles(a lot and mostly papers) of things from underneath Lucy's bed that they had been hiding. So...we had a cleaning party that took a couple hours and got things back to normal. The happy ending...there was a lot at the bottom of that vast pile that was lost but now found. They were pretty happy about it.
