Last night I had a dream...I was trying to take Kandus and Lucy to school...I guess Lucy was 5 years old in my dream. They both got in the car sporting their swimming suits and no shoes. I frantically told them to hurry up and change their clothes or we would be late!! They came back changed but still- no shoes. This went on for what seemed like 3 hours. I finally got them to school at about 12:45.(Don't ask me why it took that long) As I was taking them to school I realized that I was wearing Kandus' market skirt that I made for her. (What does that tell you???... I want one.) The top of it was up past my belly button and somehow managed to barely fit me, and I even got a few compliments. P.S. You'll be glad to hear that Kandus made it to school on time and I even wore jeans.
Kandus looking slightly nervous on her first day of second grade.

She does look nervous. She has this look in her eyes that says please dont make me go mom. First day was tuff. Emily asked about a thousand questions about what was going to happen and the rules.
Annie, That is hilarious... and that Market Skirt.... I STALK THAT BLOG!!! I have so many things on her blog that I want to make and I don't even have girls! She does do some cute boy things, but very few and far between. Oh well!!! I'll just have to blow up the pattern and make them for you and me!
I don't know why I missed this blog. I hate dreams like that, where you are completely helpless, until you wake up. What is a market skirt?
Shell, the lady from the website http://www.dana-made-it.com/ made them up herself. Did you look at the picture of the skirt from the link? I know you would love them.
Annie I love your new page layeout!!
