Our recent life at home hasn't been too dramatic...save but a few colds, a bout of puking in bed, and cutting our own hair...what?!!
Ya, I know some of you already heard about this and almost every kid does it right? Well, this is my first time around and I get to illustrate.
Kandus comes running up the stairs, "Mom! I think Lucy just cut her hair! There's hair everywhere on the floor!"
Lucy backs herself up, "No mom, it's my Belle barbie's hair."
So I say says I, "Okay, will you bring me Belle's hair that you cut?"
"Sure", was her response. So I wait about five minutes or so and no Lucy...she's either stalling or hiding.
Kandus comes up to me again and says, "mom, she is hiding the hair all over the room...behind the door, in the closet, it's everywhere."
So she was definately tampering with evidence.
I finally got my lazy booshky down stairs to inspect and confirm that it was infact Lucy's hair and not Belle barbie's. Not to mention a lot of it. This picture doesn't do justice. She cut a whole side up above her ear. Katie fixed it up nicely though and cut it into a cute bob.
As I was trying to lay out a concequence I had to bite back hard to keep from laughing or smiling.
I'm actually proud of myself for not getting angry with her. It really was pretty comedic and after all...it is just hair.

Oh Ann,
I just can't wait for the same thing to happen at our house. I actually caught Kimball trying a couple of weeks ago, but boys are easy to fix, you just shave it off. Her hair does look way cute though, our sister is the bomb at hair cutting. Will you remind her that I am suffering out here in that way. Love ya.
I think Lucy has a touch of Damon's mischief in her. He cut my long pony tail off. I think my mom kicked his butt. I think you can count that as a good parenting momment. Way to remain calm.
