Remembering.

I love to remember. I've kept a history of the funny things our children have said since our beginning.

Here be some of my favorite lines...so far anyway.

Deacon2 Years old-

Deac said this every day for months while looking outside our kitchen window for the wood pecker.

Deac: Where's green pecker bird?

Deac: Can I have a apple mom?
Me: Sure.
Deac: I'm so so sygid! I'm ha, ha, so so sygid!

Deac: Don't poop on me mom. Don't poop on me.(I assure you I was minding my own business)

Lucy gave Deac her old stuffed dog because he loves it so much.
Deac: Where's my dog?...Here he is!!
Me: What is his name?
Deac: He names dog......He names Jack.
Lucy2 years old-
Dae left for work and the girls were watching and waving to him out the front window.
Lucy sang the song: There he goes, there he goes again!
3 years old-
Lucy: Mom, I called you a dumb rat because you wouldn't let me have treats.

During the time that we had a children's gate at the top of the stairs for Deac.
Lucy: Dad, will you wait and lift me over the gate? Cause you're the strongest and I like you a lot.
Dad: Sure, here you go.
Lucy: Do you want to hold hands?

4 years old-
Lucy came to me crying her eyes out.
Me: What's wrong Luc?
Lucy: I really miss Martin Little King. He was so nice.
Kandus3 years old-
Kandus ate an apple and left the core lying on the carpet.
Me: What is that doing there?
Kandus: Sittin' down takin' a rest.

Dae had just given us all a hug and a kiss and left out the door for work.
Kandus: That was a good Dad, we need to keep him.

Kandus: That tree scraped my back and it had horns!

4 years old-
Dae was giving her a talking to.
Kandus: You know what Damon? You shouldn't realize me with this!

Kandus: You love me so much, don't you grandma?

5 years old-
Kandus and Dae had just come home from a 4 day river trip together with relatives. She REALLY missed Lucy.
Kandus: Lucy looks bigger. How old is she? I missed Lucy more than you. Does that make you feel bad?
